With an outer diameter as small as 8 mm, these mini joints are especially suitable for medical equipment, model making and many other applications in which space is restricted. Components with smaller diameters might also be available, depending on exact performance specifications.
Originally developed in 303 Stainless Steel for a manually operated minimal invasive surgical instrument, the miniature joints are also available in various grades of stainless steel and alloy steel. The standard version has an operational angle of deflection of up to 35°. On request, Belden can develop modified versions of mini joints with a higher angle of deflection.
